Story of a Shinobi was a virtual representation of one of Fujibayashi Naoe's genetic memories, relived through the Animus EGO.[1]

Behind the scenes

This memory does not have any exclusive content, instead being used to mark a point in which the memories that comprise both the "Naoe's Journey" and "The Assassins" arcs—namely, "Before the Fall", its associated memories, "Wolves and Foxes"; and "Secrets of the Blade, its associated memories, and "The Meaning of the Blade", respectively—should have been completed in order to continue the main story.
