Iga Assassin Outpost was a virtual representation of one of Fujibayashi Naoe's genetic memories, relived through the Animus EGO.[1]
Description
Naoe traveled to Iga to locate the Kakushiba ikki outpost mentioned in Alvaro Catarribera's journal.
Dialogue
While searching southeast of Akame Shi Waterfalls in Nabari Wilds, Naoe came across a particular trail.
- Naoe: Could this be one of the outposts Catarribera mentioned about the Kakushiba ikki?
Naoe made use of the training she learned from the Iga ikki and her grappling hook to navigate the trail. Eventually, she reached the now abandoned outpost and read the words inscribed on a sign.
- Naoe: "Always honor. Never compromise." Reminds me of our Igan oaths. It's not only the group that must be protected, but its beliefs.
She then read a letter left on a wooden compartment.
Outpost Letter from a Dead Man
- My love, I don't know how much time I have left.
The kofun was attacked. They came from everywhere. They took what we swore to protect. My assassin brothers and sisters slaughtered. I was shot. You were right about this cause—it is not worth it. I should have never left you to fulfil this oath.
Darkness is taking me. I hope to you see you again, my love.
