They call me many things: Murderer. Cutthroat. Thief. But you may call me The Mask (Assassin).

This article is about a subject that lacks an official name and is known only by its nickname, title, or alias.

"Act well your role; there lies all the honor."
―The Mask[src]-[m]
The Mask

The Mask was the alias of a famous dixi opera performer and an acolyte of the Chinese Brotherhood. Cunning though impulsive, they operated as a saboteur for the Assassins.[1]

Behind the scenes

The character's quote comes from the English poet Alexander Pope's 1733 poem An Essay on Man.
