Ampheres was an Isu and one of the sons of Poseidon, the ruler of Atlantis.
In a simulation created by Aletheia, Ampheres was an Archon, like his brothers Gadiros and Azaes. His short fuse was notorious, and he was known for his aggressive nature. He had some trouble with humans under his jurisdiction and used violence as an interrogation method.[1]
His daughter, who kept his aggression in check was eventually murdered by humans, who also tried to take the life of Ampheres, scarring him in the face in the process.[2]
