The Wheel Turns was a virtual representation of one of Yasuke's genetic memories, relived through the Animus EGO.[1]
Description[edit | edit source]
Yasuke returns to the hideout and found a letter addressed to him.
Dialogue[edit | edit source]
Yasuke found a letter on a table in the hiroma.
- Yasuke: A letter. Looks important.
He read the letter.
Lady Gamo's Letter
- Yasuke: Alarming news about Lady Oichi. She needs my help again.
Yasuke travels to Azuchi's Merchants' Quarters, walking down the road while eavesdropping on the nearby Noh performers.
- Noh Performer 1: Lord Hideyoshi has drawn swords against the Akechi. Clans and generals are taking sides!
- Noh Performer 2: No one will patronize our plays during war. The temple will suffer.
- Noh Performer 1: Ahh, Ōmi has endured decades of strife. What's one more year?
He then eavesdropped on two civilians.
- Man: Ah, I love it here. The sights, the sounds, even the smells!
- Elderly Woman 1: The whole town stinks. It's those grubby sake breweries!
- Man: The smell of sake is the smell of success.

After a short while, Yasuke found Oichi and her servant.
- Gamo Akihime: Greetings, sir. Thank you for responding so quickly to my letter.
Close to Oichi, Yasuke found her daughters sitting on the road.
Chacha: I'm the oldest. And I say to follow the rules!
Oeyo: I do anything I want to do.
Hatsu: Please, be good and don't quarrel.
Yasuke listened to two more nearby civilians.
- Woman: I saw Lady Oichi in the market again. She looked so sad.
- Elderly Woman 2: She should be sad! She has three daughters and no husband. How will they eat?
- Woman: She needs to marry Lord Motoaki of Wakasa. He's a dream!
Yasuke returned to Oichi.
- Lady Oichi: Yasuke. What an unexpected delight to meet you in the marketplace.
He greeted with a bow.
- Yasuke: Thank you, Lady Oichi. But it is no happy accident. I sought you out.
- Lady Oichi: You did? But why? The trouble you helped me with... That is in the past.
- Yasuke: Yes, but I still worry. There have been alarming reports about your health. Your happiness.

- Lady Oichi: Your concern is admirable. But put your mind at east. I am well.
- Yasuke: Farewell then, Lady Oichi. May you find the peace that you seek.
- Lady Oichi: You have been a great help, Yasuke. It means more to me that you will ever know.
Outcome[edit | edit source]
Yasuke returned to Azuchi to check on Lady Oichi's help, and was assured that she was doing okay.
