Topple the Traitor was a virtual representation of one of Fujibayashi Naoe and Yasuke's genetic memories, relived through the Animus EGO.[1]

Yasuke and Naoe met with Hashiba Hideyoshi to help him besiege Akechi Mitsuhide's castle and deal with the traitor once and for all.
Dialogue[edit | edit source]
Yasuke and Naoe entered Hideyoshi's camp.
- Ashigaru Archer: If you expect to die, you will fight without fear.
- Ashigaru Spearman: We marched for days to get here. But we've caught the Akechi army off guard.
- Samurai Duelist: Mitsuhide broke the sacred vow. A samurai never turns against his lord.
- Ashigaru Swordsman 1: Mitsuhide has no honor. I would never serve his cause.
- Ashigaru Swordsman 2: Lord Hideyoshi fights for Lord Nobunaga's legacy.
Yasuke and Naoe approached Hideyoshi and bowed and kneeled before him.
- Hideyoshi: No. Lord Nobutaka will take the right flank. I am leading the charge.

Mitsuhide looked out at his troops.

The soldiers on both sides battle, Yasuke and Naoe then made their approach to Shoryuji Castle.
- Akechi Castle Guard: There's too many!
- Akechi Castle Guard: Get ready!
- Akechi Castle Guard: They're getting closer!
- Akechi Castle Guard: Lord Mitsuhide has damned us!
Yasuke and Naoe entered the stairs of the castle's main building and was approached from behind by samurai, with Mitsuhide soon following them.
- Mitsuhide: I should have killed you in Honnō-ji. Deal with this.
Yasuke and Naoe caught up with Mitsuhide near Ōyamazaki.
- Akechi Guard: Lord Mitsuhide, we will cover your retreat.
Mitsuhide took a moment and looked around, watching nearby villagers observing.
