Within the hierarchy of the Persian Order of the Ancients, a Magus was second only to their leader, and held governance over their branch of the organization.

The status of Magus is similar to that of Sages within the Cult of Kosmos.

Historically, a magus was a member of a Persian priestly caste.

Throughout the game, the word "Magi" is erroneously used as the singular case.
