Brasidas:You showed up in Megaris, and the Wolf died. No explanation needed.
Kassandra was defensive.
Kassandra:That man destroyed my life, and they made him a general for it! I had no choice.
Kassandra:I did what I thought was right.
Brasidas:You hurt my reputation.
Kassandra:I can fix that, Brasidas. Let me fix it.
(If Nikolaos is dead.)
Kassandra:Let me explain–
Brasidas:I know you killed Nikolaos.
Kassandra was taken aback.
Kassandra:You... how?
Brasidas:You showed up in Megaris, and the Wolf died. No explanation needed.
Kassandra was defensive.
Kassandra:That man destroyed my life, and they made him a general for it! I had no choice.
Brasidas:We're wasting time. Athens is gathering reinforcements. We need to attack now. Let's go.
Brasidas walked away from Kassandra.
Kassandra: Málaka.
Kassandra following Brasidas and his men
Brasidas led his men towards the battlefield as Kassandra followed at his side.
Brasidas:Today, we give everything we have. No giving up!
On the way to the battlefield, they were ambushed by Athenians who had reached the scaffolding of the city.
Brasidas:The Athenians are here! Spartans, charge!
Archers took up high positions.
Brasidas:Archers on the wall! They need to be shot down! Now!
The Spartans defeated the Athenian ambushers, they then made their way down the road to their main camp.
Brasidas:The Athenian camp is ahead. Destroy it all!
Brasidas and Kassandra joined the Spartan fight against the Athenians.
In a repeat of the Battle of Pylos, Kassandra defeated several Athenian soldiers, then watched Deimos enter the fray, slaying everyone in his path as he made his way towards Brasidas.
Deimos:You want war?!
Deimos killing Brasidas
Brasidas and Deimos fought once again, the latter eventually getting the upper hand as Brasidas' defences failed after one another, and finally Deimos impaled Brasidas upon his own spear. Kassandra, who had witnessed it all, lunged at Deimos, pouncing on him.
Kassandra:Arrrrggghhh!
Kassandra and Deimos locked spear and sword, neither giving way.
Deimos:You take everything so personally!
Kleon panicking
As he mocked Kassandra, Deimos suddenly gasped in surprise, having been struck by an arrow. He fell to the ground and Kassandra looked up. At the edge of the battlefield, astounded Kleon dropped his bow, having apparently missed his target. When their eyes met, Kleon panicked and ran.
Kleon:Shit!
Kassandra pursued him.
Kleon:Turn back! Don't come any closer!
Kassandra:Fucking coward! He can't get away.
Kleon:Stop! I beg you!
Kleon trying to reason with Kassandra
Kassandra chased Kleon to the beach, where he made his last stand.
Kleon:This isn't your fight, Kassandra.
Kassandra:Unfortunately for you, it is.
Kleon:It's not too late, you know. You can still join us.
Kassandra:We're not in Athens. You can't talk your way out of this.
Kleon:Why won't you just leave me alone? This is all your fault.
Kassandra:You did this, Kleon. You have only yourself to blame.
Kassandra inflicted some deep wounds on Kleon.
Kleon:You've only ever been a nuisance to us.
Kassandra eventually subdued Kleon utterly, tossing him into the sand near the water. She cracked her knuckles as she approached him menacingly.
Kleon:Kassandra, come now! Show mercy!
Kassandra:You turned him against us. My own brother.
Kleon backed away.
Kleon:We lifted Deimos up. We made him great! Unstoppable!
Kassandra:You made him a monster.
Kassandra backhanded Kleon.
Kleon:Then fight by his side—teach him! You would have Deimos once again.
Kassandra grabbed Kleon by the throat.
Kassandra:His name is Alexios.
Kleon:I beg you! This world is severed, Kassandra, and we'll unite it!
Kassandra tossed Kleon away from her.
Kassandra:Shut the fuck up.
Kleon held up his hands in front of him as he cowered.
Kleon:My hands are empty—have pity!
Kleon's neck being snapped by Kassandra
Kassandra:You don't deserve a quick death. But you'll earn what you meet at the gates of Hades.
Kleon:No.
Kassandra:Now kneel.
Kleon:You don't understand. No one will forget me, Kleon of Athens. I will be remembered u—
Kassandra grabbed Kleon and snapped his neck, dropping his lifeless body into the ocean.
Kassandra:You're already forgotten.
Kassandra stepped back from what she had done.
Kassandra:You will die just as you lived. As a coward.
Kassandra grabbed Kleon's arm and turned him around on his knees.
Kleon:I'm not through, I won't be forgotten—for all I've done.
Kassandra kicked him in the back into the water and pressed his face into the shallow, muddied sea water with her foot. She allowed him up for air twice, Kleon struggling to draw breath each time.
Kassandra:You're not worth the memory.
She resumed until he finally drowned.
Kassandra:That's it, then. Myrrine will want to know Kleon is dead. ...And Brasidas. I should have gotten to Deimos sooner. I'm sorry, my friend.
