Defense of Samos was a virtual representation of one of Kassandra's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan through the Portable Animus HR-8.5 and a memory of Layla herself.
Description
Kassandra and Herodotos saw the Persian fleet arriving at Samos.
Dialogue
Approaching the fleet with the Adrestia.
- Herodotos: There they are! Persian ships!
With two destroyed.
- Herodotos: Destroy them all!
With all the ships destroyed, she spoke with Herodotos.
- Herodotos: Samos is safe.
- Kassandra: What about Mestor?
- Herodotos: After his faulure, he won't get a second chance. Plus, there's no way he'd stay on Samos now.
- Kassandra: Theodoros has changed.
- Herodotos: He's the theodoros I remembered. He was always willing to admit fault. It's a trait too few people share.
- Kassandra: Then you believe things will be OK? Even if you leave Samos again?
- Herodotos: Of course. Theodoros has work to do here, and he understands mine is elsewhere.
- Kassandra: Good.
- Herodotos: Thank you for everything, Kassandra. Without you, I couldn't have gotten through this.
Outcome
Kassandra defeated the four Persian ships with the Adrestia.
Trivia
Even though they are Persian ships, they are listed as Pirate vessels.
