We Will Rise was a virtual representation of one of Kassandra's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan through the Portable Animus HR-8.5.

Description

Kassandra met with Brasidas in Amphipolis to deal with Kleon.

Dialogue

Kassandra met with Brasidas on the walls of Amphipolis.

• Kassandra: Brasidas, you're here.
• Brasidas: You got my message.

Brasidas turned away from Kassandra, walking towards the walls.

• Kassandra: I heard about Pylos. Are you all right?
• Brasidas: I've been through worse. We have bigger problems right now.

(If players choose "What happened to you?")

• Kassandra: After Pylos – what happened?
• Brasidas: The remaining Spartans found me and gave me time to recover, so I did.
• Kassandra: But your leg –
• Brasidas: You disappeared from battle.
• Kassandra: I was captured – taken to Athens for an interrogation with Deimos and Kleon.
• Brasidas: They didn't kill you.
• Kassandra: They tried.

(If players choose "Where's Kleon?")

• Kassandra: So Kleon's in Amphipolis...
• Brasidas: Somewhere. And in armor, I hear. He'll fight for his life today.
• Kassandra: He wants to be the hero. Athenians can't think much of him after what he did.

(If players choose "Let's get going.")

• Kassandra: This is our chance, Brasidas. We kill Kleon today.
• Brasidas: If you don't, then I will.

Brasidas crossed his arms.

• Kassandra: There's something you're not telling me.

Brasidas snorted.

• Brasidas: I am here for Kleon. Let's keep it at that.

He walked away from Kassandra.

• Kassandra: I thought we were friends.
• Brasidas: You're not who I thought you were. You were raised Spartan – you should know how to be loyal.

I am loyal to you.I'm loyal to myself.

• Kassandra: I came here, didn't I? We're fighting the same fight.
• Brasidas: You haven't proven that.
• Kassandra: Let me prove it now.

Brasidas shook his head.

• Brasidas: It's too late.

(If Nikolaos is dead)

• Kassandra: Let me explain–
• Brasidas: I know you killed Nikolaos.

Kassandra was taken aback.

• Kassandra: You... how?
• Brasidas: You showed up in Megaris, and the Wolf died. No explanation needed.

Kassandra was defensive.

• Kassandra: That man destroyed my life, and they made him a general for it! I had no choice.
• Brasidas: We're wasting time. Athens is gathering reinforcements.
• Brasidas: We need to attack now. Let's go.

Brasidas walked away from Kassandra.

• Kassandra: Málaka.

Brasidas headed towards the battlefield and Kassandra followed.

• Brasidas: Today, we give everything we have.
• Brasidas: No giving up!

On the way to the battlefield, they were ambushed by Athenians who had made it to their encampment.

• Brasidas: The Athenians are here! Spartans, charge! Archers on the wall! They need to be shot down! Now!

After defeating them, they made their way to the Athenian camp. Brasidas: The Athenian camp is ahead. Destroy it all! Brasidas and Kassandra joined the Spartan fight against the Athenians. As the battle went on, Kassandra spotted Deimos on the battlefield, slaying everyone in his path as he made his way towards Brasidas.

• Deimos: You want war?!

Brasidas and Deimos fought, the latter easily getting the upper hand and finally impaling Brasidas upon his own spear. Kassandra, who had seen it all, lunged at Deimos.

• Kassandra: Arrrrggghhh!

Kassandra and Deimos locked spear and sword, neither giving way.

• Deimos: You take everything so personally!

As he mocked Kassandra, Deimos suddenly gasped as he was hit by an arrow in the back. He fell to the ground and Kassandra looked up to see Kleon wielding the bow that shot it. When their eyes met, Kleon panicked and ran.

• Kleon: Shit!

Kassandra pursued him.

• Kleon: Turn back! Don't come any closer!
• Kassandra: Fucking coward! He can't get away.
• Kleon: Stop! I beg you!

Kassandra chased Kleon to the beach where they battled.

• Kleon: This isn't your fight, Kassandra.
• Kassandra: Unfortunately for you, it is.
• Kleon: It's not too late, you know. You can still join us.
• Kassandra: We're not in Athens. You can't talk your way out of this.
• Kleon: Why won't you just leave me alone? This is all your fault.

Kassandra got the better of Kleon, tossing him into the sand near the water. She cracked her knuckles as she approached him menacingly.

• Kleon: Kassandra, come now! Show mercy!
• Kassandra: You turned him against us. My own brother.

Kleon backed away.

• Kleon: We lifted Deimos up. We made him great! Unstoppable!
• Kassandra: You made him a monster.

Kassandra slapped Kleon in the face.

• Kleon: Then fight by his side – teach him! You would have Deimos once again.

Kassandra grabbed Kleon by the throat.

• Kassandra: His name is Alexios.
• Kleon: I beg you! This world is severed, Kassandra, and we'll unite it!

Kassandra tossed Kleon away from her.

• Kassandra: Shut the fuck up.

Kleon held up his hands in front of him as he cowered.

• Kleon: My hands are empty – have pity!

Kill – I'll kill you mercifully.Kill – I'm going you kill you slowly.

• Kassandra: You don't deserve a quick death. But you'll earn what you meet at the gates of Hades.
• Kleon: No.
• Kassandra: Now kneel.

• Kleon: You don't understand. No one will forget me, Kleon of Athens. I will be remembered u—

Kassandra grabbed Kleon and snapped his neck, dropping his lifeless body into the ocean.

• Kassandra: You're already forgotten.

Kassandra stepped back from what she had done.

• Kassandra: That's it, then. Myrrine will want to know Kleon is dead.
• Kassandra: ...And Brasidas. I should have gotten to Deimos sooner. I'm sorry, my friend.
