Mímir, or Mim is one of the Æsir gods of Germanic mythology, renowned for his wisdom and knowledge. He was beheaded during the Æsir–Vanir War. Afterwards, Odin reanimated Mímir's head so that he could learn his secret knowledge as counsel.
