- Kassandra: Athens meant everything to him. I spared him the truth.
- Charon: You brought comfort to a troubled soul.
- Kassandra: I couldn't tell him the plague destroyed everything he loved.

A Cursed Sickness was a virtual representation of one of Kassandra's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan through the Portable Animus HR-8.5.
Kassandra was tasked with finding an asphodel flower to heal a woman who thought she was still sick.
After helping the lost soldier, Kassandra returned to Charon at the docks.
(Asked "Where do I find the flower?")
(Asked "What does the flower do?")
(Leave – "I'll get the flower.")
Kassandra headed to the breach, located at the eastern part of the Scorched Lands. Ikaros found the entrance.

Heading through the breach, she encountered and killed numerous Hounds of Hades. She continued her way through.
She found the flower on the ground.

Kassandra stepped forward to pick up the flower. Afterwards, she heard someone approaching behind and turned around to face them, hiding the flower in her hands.
A pack of hounds of Hades eyed him from afar.
The Hounds of Hades lunged themselves at Testikles, killing him.

Kassandra eliminated the hounds and looted Testikles' body before heading off to Hades' Palace to find the plague victim. Ikaros found her at a camp designated for the plague victims on the cliff above the Stables of the Immortal Stallions.
Kassandra entered the camp.
Kassandra approached the plague victim.
(If players haven't discovered all of the Fallen yet, Hades appears)
Kassandra rolled her eyes and turned to Hades, who was leaning against the wall behind her.
Hades stepped closer to Kassandra.
Hades vanished and left behind a startled Kassandra.
(this completes the quest)
(Asked "What do you remember?")
(Asked "How did you get here?")

(Chose "Eat this flower.")
Kassandra gave the flower to the woman, who ate it.
She inspected her hands.

Kassandra followed the woman out of the palace.
Kassandra escorted the woman up the akropolis to the pyre. Along the way, she killed numerous guards. They reached the Thanatos Pyre, which burned with a large blue flame.
With the coast clear, they approached the fire.
They stood before the flame. Kassandra nodded to the woman, who walked into the fire and knelt. The woman moaned in pain, and Kassandra winced and looked away. However, the woman's body was cleansed of the plague, and she emerged with her skin restored. She and Kassandra smiled, and Kassandra placed her hand on the woman's shoulder in solidarity.
Kassandra recovered an asphodel flower and gave it to the sick woman to regain her strength. She then escorted her to a pyre to be cleansed of the plague.
