The Battle of Munychia was a battle fought between the pro-Spartan obligarchy of Athens, known as the Thirty Tyrants, and the Athenian exiled led by general Thrasybulus. The misthios Kassandra helped Thrasybulus to capture Munychia Fort and helped defend alongside the general and Nikomedes against Critias' army. The battle ended in the defeat of the obligarchy and the death of Critias by Kassandra.[1]
