Within the hierarchy of the Persian Order of the Ancients, a Magus was second only to their leader, and held governance over their branch of the organization.

During the Peloponnesian War there were five Magi operating in Greece:[1]

Behind the scenes

The status of Magus is similar to the status of the Sages of the Cult of Kosmos.

Historically a magus was a member of a Persian priestly caste.

Throughout the game the word "Magi" is erroneously used as the singular case.
