Effects of the Dead was a virtual representation of one of Kassandra's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan through the Portable Animus HR-8.5.
Note: The misthios who worked with Brasidas - I need your help. Others need not apply.
Intrigued, Kassandra sought out the athlete and adressed her.
Kassandra:I'm here about the job you posted. What's going on?
Woman:You! Eagle Bearer, you were a great friend of General Brasidas of Sparta, were you not?
Kassandra:I knew Brasidas, but we did not see eye to eye on a lot of things.
Woman:Oh... That is your loss. Brasidas was my cousin, and he was the most wonderful man. You would have been lucky to call him your friend.
(Quest failed.)
Kassandra:Brasidas and I worked together a few times.
Woman:I knew it! Brasidas was my cousin and the most wonderful man I ever knew!
Kassandra:Brasidas and I were very close, yes.
Woman:I knew it! He only ever said wonderful things about you. He was my cousin, you know.
Kassandra:Is that so...
Woman:I'd like to return his effects to his family, but a Spartan commander is holding onto them... tightly. As his best friend, you must know how important it is for his family to receive closure.
Kassandra:And you're asking me to get it for you?
Woman:Yes, I need it back at all costs.
(Accept - I'll bring it to you.)
Kassandra:You can count on me.
Woman:Good, get this done quickly.
Kassandra: Chaire.
Kassandra sought out the bag of Brasidas' effects in a nearby fort, and then returned to the athlete.
Woman:Tell me it's been handled, misthios.
Kassandra:It's all yours.
Woman:Job well done, mercenary. Here, this is yours.
