Trials of the Keeper was a virtual representation of one of Kassandra's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan through the Portable Animus HR-8.5.
Description
Kassandra walked into the first portal created by Aletheia, not knowing what awaited her within.
Dialogue
Kassandra approached the first portal.
- Kassandra: No going back now. I have to trust her.
Kassandra entered the portal.
Having landed in Elysium, Kassandra surveyed her surroundings.
- Kassandra: Aletheia needs to work on that landing.
A dog approached Kassandra and began licking her face.
- Kassandra: Eugh!
The dog left, leading Kassandra to a squadron of frozen Isu soldiers guarding a regally-dressed Isu woman with violet eyes.
- Persephone: You don't belong here.
Persephone snapped her fingers, awakening the soldiers and sending them to attack Kassandra.
- Kassandra: Oh, shit.
Persephone took her leave. The soldiers engaged Kassandra and made use of techniques to rob her of her power, but she eventually defeated all of them. Kassandra walked back up the steps to survey her surroundings, and noted the giant statue of the same woman who confronted her. Ikaros flew past the statue as Kassandra's first trial began in earnest.
Outcome
Upon entering Elysium, Kassandra was accosted by a squadron of Isu soldiers controlled by Persephone.
