Tainted Sacrifice was a virtual representation of one of Kassandra's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan through the Portable Animus HR-8.5.
Description
A priestess asked Kassandra help with dealing with a theft.
Dialogue
Kassandra noticed a job posted on a message board.
- Note:
Our sacred altar has been raided by a rogue mercenary working with bandits! Seeking a champion of the gods.
She sought out the priestess and addressed her.
- Kassandra: You left a note on the board. What's going on?
- Woman: A mercenary has been raiding sacrifices from our altar and sharing them with a nearby bandit camp. I'd sooner see our sacrifice to the gods destroyed than squandered on those vermin.
- Kassandra: And you're hoping I'll kill all the bandits?
- Woman: That's right.
(Accept - I'll hunt the outlaws.)
- Kassandra: I'll help you. You have my word.
- Woman: You'll be doing divine work.
- Kassandra: I'll be back when everything's taken care of.
Kassandra left the priestess and hunted down the bandits before returning to her to claim the reward.
Outcome
Kassandra helped the priestess, and was rewarded for this.
