In spite of her efforts to resolve things peacefully, Kassandra decided Lagos could not live. She attacked and killed him.

Judge, Jury, Executioner was a virtual representation of one of Kassandra's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan through the Portable Animus HR-8.5.
Description
Having learned the whereabouts of Lagos, the Cultist in Arkadia, Kassandra faced him within Fort Samikon.
Dialogue
With her preparations complete, Kassandra made her way into Fort Samikon to deal with Lagos once and for all.
(If Gluten Free was completed)
With his family freed, Lagos felt his leash loosen enough to await Kassandra in private. She infiltrated his chambers at Fort Samikon and spoke to him directly.
- Lagos: I knew you'd come find me sooner or later.
- Kassandra: What tipped you off?
(Depends on killing soldiers, either in Fort Samikon or in the other quests)
- Lagos: You killed my soldiers. But -
- Lagos: You helped my family when I couldn't. Even if we're apart, I know they're safe thanks to you.
- Kassandra: It's the least I could do.
- Lagos: The world is so chaotic now.
- Kassandra: The Cult made it that way.
- Lagos: We're living in divided times. Sparta against Athens. Old against new.
Kassandra chuckled at Lagos' apparent naïveté.
- Kassandra: And you think the Cultists aren't stoking the flames on both sides?
- Lagos: I've seen what they can do. What they're willing to do. I want what's best for Arkadia... I'll consider what you have to say.
- Kassandra: It's not too late. Leave the Cult of Kosmos and join Brasidas.
- Lagos: You consider me your ally today... How can I know you and Brasidas won't change your minds?
- Kassandra: We can work together against our common enemy. You deserve better than to live under the threat of the Cult.
- Lagos: You sound like Brasidas when he was your age. You give me hope.
- Lagos: The Cult gave me this. They said it was a sign of my devotion. Maybe you can use it against them.
- Kassandra: I'm sure I can find a way.
- Lagos: I'll lift the bounty on you and Myrrine. And may you find success in your fight against this evil.
- Kassandra: Thank you, Archon. We appreciate it.
- Lagos: You saved my family from the Cult by yourself... You're courageous.
- Kassandra: Why?
- Lagos: You've made an enemy of a king. Pausanias threatened my family with torture and death if I betrayed him.
- Kassandra: Pausanias?! Do you have proof?
- Lagos: Here - evidence of his treachery.
- Kassandra: Thank you. I'll see about this king of lies.
With her deed complete, Kassandra made her way out of the fort.
Reporting back
Kassandra reported back to Myrrine and Brasidas on the hill overlooking Fort Samikon.
- Kassandra: The bounty is lifted—Lagos is alive.
- Brasidas: See? I knew we could solve this without violence.
Myrrine folded her arms and frowned.
- Myrrine: That Cultist deserved to die.
- Kassandra: Lagos is no longer with the Cult. I convinced him he's safer without them.
- Myrrine: The Cult of Kosmos would eat their own young if it served their needs!
- Kassandra: Not Lagos. He was being blackmailed by King Pausanias. He had Lagos' family at knifepoint, and I have proof.
- Brasidas: King Pausanias?! We must return to Sparta to confront him.
(If neither of the two tasks have been completed)
- Kassandra: No. The kings were clear in their requests. Boeotia must be brought under control, and Sparta must win a wreath at the Olympic Games.
- Myrrine: There is much left to do, lamb.
(If 'Pankration' has been completed, but not 'The Conqueror')
- Kassandra: We may have won the wreath, but the kings also wanted us to conquer the Boeotians.
- Myrrine: True, you are needed there before we return.
(If 'The Conqueror' has been completed, but not 'Pankration')
- Kassandra:
(If both tasks have been completed)
- Kassandra: You're right. we've done all we can. It’s time to go to Sparta.
- Myrrine: Yes. It’s time we return.
Regardless, Brasidas took his leave of them with some parting words.
- Brasidas: Very well. I'll take my leave of you, Kassandra. I won't soon forget your good work here.
He turned to Myrrine.
- Brasidas: It was good to see you again, Myrrine. Though we had our disagreements, I do hope you regain your house soon.
- Kassandra: He's dead.
- Brasidas: This complicates things.
- Myrrine: One less Cultist. Seems simple enough.
- Brasidas: Lagos was a dear friend once. I should have been there.
- Kassandra: I'm sorry, Brasidas. But when Lagos joined the Cult, he sealed his fate.
- Kassandra: Should have been there? Brasidas, that man stopped deserving your loyalty the moment he joined the cult.
Brasidas cited the outcome of their previous partnership in his rebuke.
(The Monger killed publicly)
- Brasidas: So you executed the Monger in public against my advice, and now you kill Lagos? If you were under my command - you wouldn’t be, anymore.
(The Monger killed privately)
- Brasidas: If only you'd followed my advice with Lagos like you did with the Monger.
Regardless, Kassandra raised her finger and asserted her position as a misthios.
- Kassandra: I don't follow orders. I do what I have to.
- Brasidas: So it’s done. I suppose you'll be wanting to report the news to Sparta soon.
- Brasidas: Myrrine. You are as determined as ever. I'm sure you will regain your house soon.
He turned to Kassandra.
- Brasidas: With Lagos dead, arrangements must be made to ensure Sparta doesn't starve.
Regardless, Kassandra reflected on their success.
- Kassandra: Arkadia is safe once more.
- Myrrine: And the bounty is lifted. We are free to travel without fear.
- Kassandra: Then let's continue our journey.
Brasidas gave a small bow and took his leave. Kassandra and Myrrine held each other's arms. Myrrine clasped her daughter's face before taking her leave as well.
Outcome
Whether Lagos was killed or freed from the Cult, Kassandra removed Arkadia from their grasp and took an important step towards purging their corruption from the Peloponnesian League.
Trivia
- If Lagos lives, Pausanias is immediately unveiled as the Sage of the Peloponnesian League branch of the Cult of Kosmos. Any outstanding Cultist clues from this branch will not be readable in his Cultist submenu if they are obtained after this point.
- Given that two are obtained in the main story prior to this point, the only clues the player could be missing are from Skylax and Kallias, the latter of whom is encountered during the Olympic Games line of memories but not necessarily killed in the course thereof. A fifth can be obtained by dueling Stentor, but this locks the player out of the game's best ending.
