Ajax on Fire was a virtual representation of one of Kassandra's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan through the Portable Animus HR-8.5 and a memory of Layla herself.
Kassandra found and met the Lokrian Ajax, a man who claimed to be the reincarnation of Ajax the Lesser.
Ajax mutters to himself as Kassandra approaches him.
Kassandra speaks to "Ajax".

The duo eventually makes it back to Alponos.

Ajax dies from the fire.
Regardless of the outcome, Kassandra is free to take his Poorly-Crafted Helmet.
Kassandra escorted Ajax the Lesser to the village of Alponos. While he tried to prove he was the real Ajax, and thus immortal, he was either burned to death by Kassandra or goaded into a fight to the death.
