Trouble Follows was a virtual representation of one of Kassandra's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan through the Portable Animus HR-8.5.
Description
The new wife of Himilko called out for Kassandra's help, as her husband was in trouble again with a mercenary.
Dialogue
- Kassandra: I picked up your message on the board. What's happening?
- Woman: Eagle Bearer! I know what you did for my Himilko - how you stopped that traitorous Heitor from killing him.
- Woman: I only wish our mercenary troubles were over.
- Kassandra: Mercenary troubles?
- Woman: I was really hoping the trouble with Heitor would teach my Himilko a lesson, but since returning home, he's gotten into trouble with yet another mercenary.
- Kassandra: And let me guess, you want me to kill him.
- Woman: I know it's a tall order, but I want this mercenary dead.
(Accept - I'll kill this mercenary.)
- Kassandra: I'm in.
- Woman: Good, please be quick.
- Kassandra: Leave it to me.
Kassandra left the woman and hunted down the mercenary, dealing with them before returning to Himilko's wife.
- Woman: You again. Have you killed him?
- Kassandra: Your man is dead.
- Woman: You've earned your payment, misthios. Here. This is for you.
- Kassandra: All in a day's work.
Outcome
Kassandra hunted down the mercenary and killed them, gaining drachmae as reward.
Trivia
- The wife's appearance and name, as well as the target mercenary, are randomized.
- This quest is available only if Himilko lives after A Friend in Need...
