The Final Battle was a virtual representation of one of Kassandra's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan through the Portable Animus HR-8.5.
Description[edit | edit source]
General Demosthenes asked the Eagle Bearer to fight on behalf of Athens at the Battle of Megaris.
Dialogue[edit | edit source]
Kassandra spoke to Demosthenes.
- Demosthenes: I know you've played both sides like a typical misthios. But now it's time to choose: The winning side or pathetic failure.
- Kassandra: Athens will triumph.
- Demosthenes: Then welcome to the winning side of history.
Kassandra joined the Athenians in battle, killing a number of Spartan soldiers. They ultimately won the battle.
Outcome[edit | edit source]
Kassandra helped Athens to defeat the Spartan army in battle.
Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
Accepting and completing this quest locks the final quest from Lysander, "Nemesis", and vice versa.
Given that the battle is possibly inspired by the historical Battle of Megara in 424 BCE won by Athenian forces, the memory "Nemesis" may be non-canon.
