A Good Toast was a virtual representation of one of Kassandra's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan in 2018 through the Portable Animus HR-8.5.[1]
Description[edit | edit source]
Kassandra returned to the old lady in Amphipolis after eliminating the mercenaries as requested.
Dialogue[edit | edit source]
Upon arriving at the Ide's spot in Amphipolis, Kassandra was shocked to find her dead on the ground.
- Kassandra: The old lady...
She talked to the woman who knelt next to the body in mourning.
- Kassandra: What happened?
- Civilian: Some mercenary came out of nowhere and stabbed her in the back. She stumbled back here mumbling something about how they weren't going to ruin her view...
Kassandra shook her head and her expression sank. Shortly thereafter, she helped herself to a cup of the woman's wine and stepped to the edge of the scaffolding, taking in the view the lady had so praised.
- Kassandra: The view is pretty good.
Then, with a loud threat, she set out to find the fourth mercenary.
- Kassandra: You can't hide forever. I'm coming for you!
She spotted the mercenary at the harbor and eliminated her, avenging the old lady.
- Kassandra: This one's for you, Old Lady.

Kassandra eliminated Exadios the Backbreaker, avenging Ide's murder.
Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
Regardless whether players choose to play as Alexios or Kassandra, the Eagle Bearer's yell of "You can't hide forever." uses the same voice file from the memory "Whimpers Through the Fog" when they chase after Pactyas.
