The flails used by Lucius Septimius, Julius Caesar's right-hand man, were weapons that appeared to be, at the very least, based off of Isu technology. Behind the scenes
Historically, use of the flail as a weapon didn't begin until the Late Middle Ages, making Septimius' use of such a weapon anachronistic.
