Curses and Cures was a virtual representation of one of Kassandra's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan through the Portable Animus HR-8.5.
Description
A physician sought a mercenary's help to remove a curse.
Dialogue
Kassandra noticed a job posted on a message board.
- Note:
I'm a physician in need of some help with a difficult curse. If you think you can aid me, let's talk.
She sought out the physician and addressed him.
- Kassandra: I got your message on the board. What's going on?
- Man: One of my patients has lost all favor with the gods. I need help lifting the curse that's been placed on her.
- Kassandra: I'm not sure I have much say in the gods' business.
- Man: The problem isn't the gods. It's with the person who laid the curse.
- Kassandra: So you want me to deal with her.
- Man: The gods show me mercy. That is exactly what I desire.
(Accept – I'm going to help you.)
- Kassandra: All right. I'm in.
- Man: Thank you. You saved me.
- Kassandra: Chaire.
Kassandra left the physician and sought out the priestess.
- Kassandra: You've made a few enemies, stranger. Including the person who hired me.
- Woman: No, please. There must be something I can do to change your mind.
- Kassandra: I might be able to help you escape... If you're willing to join my crew?
- Woman: I must abandon my life here completely to avoid death? Fine, if that's what it takes.
- [dialogue]
After dealing with the priestess, she returned to the physician.
- Man: Has she been... taken care of, misthios?
- Kassandra: She's no longer a concern.
- Man: Then this belongs to you. Nice work, misthios.
- Kassandra: That'll do.
Outcome
Kassandra helped the physician.
