The Heir of Memories was a virtual representation of one of Kassandra's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan through the Portable Animus HR-8.5 and a memory of Layla herself.

Kassandra met with Aletheia on the Island of Triton, one of the many Isu, due to Kassandra possessing the Staff of Hermes Trismegistus. Kassandra pledges herself to become the gatekeeper and holding on to the staff for the Heir of Memories.
Layla Hassan turns out to be the Heir of Memories and learns from Aletheia that she must figure out which symbols she must mention and in what order to open the seal with the staff.
