Another Kind of Poetry was a virtual representation of one of Kassandra's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan through the Portable Animus HR-8.5.
Description
Kassandra followed Demokritos as he hoped to confess his love to a poet using his theorems.
Dialogue
Kassandra accompanied Demokritos on his way to confess his feelings.
- Kassandra: I never would've guessed you were a lover.
- Demokritos: Well, I wasn't. My theory – that all atoms exist with a great void between them – is a bit like the life I've lived.
- Kassandra: But not anymore. Now you're filling that void.
- Demokritos: Maybe... maybe what fills the void, and what draws us together, is love.
- Kassandra: Save the line for the poet, Demokritos. It's a good one.
- Demokritos: You think so? All right, I will!
Arriving at the poet's house, Demokritos was horrified to find bandits killing her.
- Demokritos: No! That's her! Those bandits... Stop them!
Kassandra swiftly dealt with the bandits.
- Kassandra: Demokritos... I'm sorry.
- Demokritos: They killed her. For it to end like this... after all this time.
- Demokritos: You can go. In another life... she might've known my love for her. You might have been my student. Imagine the happiness we'd have known.
- Kassandra: A wise man told me, "The richest person in any land is the one who wants for least." Don't want for the past, Demokritos.
- Demokritos: I'll leave soon enough. But for now, I think I want for privacy. Take this, and leave me to mourn, Kassandra.
Outcome
Kassandra left Demokritos to mourn over his would-be lover.
