Here Be Pirates was a virtual representation of one of Kassandra's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan through the Portable Animus HR-8.5 and a memory of Layla herself.
Description
Faced with a pirate invasion, Kassandra stood beside Megakles and fought.
Dialogue
With the pirates invading Alponos, Kassandra and Megakles rush to defend it.
- Megakles: Some of the villagers have armed themselves.
- Kassandra: They still need us to fight with them. Go!
While dispatching the first wave of pirates, a second group arrives.
- Civilian: Help us!
- Civilian: I don't want to die!
After dispatching the second wave of pirates, a third and final group invades Alponos.
- Kassandra: Megakles! There's more coming!
- Megakles: I see them!
Eventually, all threats are eliminated, and Kassandra speaks to Megakles.
- Kassandra: You fought well.
- Megakles: As did you. Forget what happened before. We're alive because of you.
- Kassandra: Don’t thank me. Just pay me.
- Megakles: You mercenaries are all the same. But we agreed – here is everything that was left in Alponos's treasury.
- Kassandra: Now I need to find my impersonator.
- Megakles: I can help. I found this note on the pirate leader. They owe him a lot of drachmae. He was hired to sabotage the town.
- Kassandra: Making invasion easier.
- Megakles: Their plan would have worked, if the real Eagle Bearer hadn't shown up. What will you do when you find him?
- Kassandra: I'll think of something.
- Kassandra: No need to thank me, Megakles. I'm just glad the people of Alponos are safe.
- Megakles: You may not want thanks, but you deserve it. I promised everything in the treasury, and that's what you're getting.
- Kassandra: Now I need to find my impersonator.
- Megakles: I can help. I found this note on the pirate leader. They owe him a lot of drachmae. He was hired to sabotage the town.
- Kassandra: Making invasion easier.
- Megakles: Their plan would have worked, if the real Eagle Bearer hadn't shown up. What will you do when you find him?
- Kassandra: I'll think of something.
Outcome
Kassandra fought together with the local populace and Megakles and killed all invading pirates. She obtained a clue from that would set her on the path of finding the imposter pretending to be the Eagle Bearer.
