Thrown to the Dogs was a virtual representation of one of Fujibayashi Naoe and Yasuke's genetic memories, relived through the Animus EGO.[1]
Naoe and Yasuke came across an abandoned dog at Tennoji Temple mourning his owner.
Naoe read the gravestone
Naoe followed the dog.
Naoe protected the dog from the samurai.
Reaching a home, the dog growled at a woman there.
Naoe approached the woman, Takako.
Takako and her guards attacked Naoe, forcing her to defend herself.
Despite their efforts, Takako and her guards were eliminated by Naoe.
Naoe found the key underneath the house.
Upon resurfacing from the house's crawlspace, Naoe discovered that the dog had disappeared.
Naoe returned to Ichiro's gravesite where she first found the dog. The dog was standing in front a box, to which the key Naoe had just found unlocked.
A letter was inside the box.
Naoe and Yasuke helped Tsuki-maru and gained him as a guard dog for Tomiko's Homestead.
