The Salem witch trials were a series of hearings and prosecutions of people accused of witchcraft, in Massachusetts, British America, during the period between February 1692 and May 1693. The trials resulted in the executions of twenty people.[1]

The Assassin, Tom Stoddard, witnessed the execution of Bridget Bishop, the first victim of the witch trials.[2]
