And I don't care if it was one or more Assassins, both are from the same organization and they fulfill their functions, that's why I created the page, to add context to the sides that Assassins have been on throughout history. So respect my status as author, we both have the same rights, and I assure you that this will end. You're not going to get rid of me that easily, eh?)

The Irish War of Independence (1919 – 1921) was a guerilla war in Ireland during which the nation's citizenry rebelled against the ruling British Empire in effort to secede and form their own country. The Irish Republican Army engaged in regular fights with the British Army, its local Royal Irish Constabulary police force, and British-aligned Irish paramilitary forces. The conflict ended as a militia stalemate with the signing of the Anglo-Irish Treaty, which established the Irish Free State as a self-governing entity.[1]

Legacy

At least one Assassin supported the Irish. In 2014, Abstergo Industries later used the Assassin's genetic memories as the basis for their video game Hell in Hibernia released via the Helix Navigator.[2][3] Abstergo Entertainment employee Christopher Darby's great-grandmother also served in the war, working alongside Irish leaders Éamon de Valera and Michael Collins.[4]
