Thank You, Misthios was a virtual representation of one of Kassandra's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan through the Portable Animus HR-8.5.
Description
Kassandra was again given another treasure hunt by Aiantides.
Dialogue
While in the Boura, Kassandra found and read a letter on a rock.
- Thank You, Misthios:
Eagle Bearer, your audacity astounds me again! Why did you have to kill the Huntsman, the malakas responsible for burning my village to embers?! We were fine being helplessly vengeful! I, Aiantides the Proud, will never be indebted to anyone. I hid the treasure among the rocks lined up like the constellation Sagitta along the Achaian shore. Find it and cease your benevolent deeds - I have nothing left to offer you! - Kassandra: Aiantides the Proud. What did I do now to deserve your gifts, friend?
Kassandra travelled to the rocks at the Achaian shoreline. She recovered a package near the wreck of a ship.
- Kassandra: Exactly where Aiantides said it'd be.
A man came up behind her.
- Aiantides: There you are, malaka!
Kassandra drew her Spear of Leonidas and turned around.
- Aiantides: Whoa, whoa! Wait, it's me!
Recognition dawned on Kassandra's face.
- Kassandra: Aiantides...?
- Aiantides: The Proud!
- Kassandra: That was a dangerous way to introduce yourself, Aiantides.
- Aiantides: You should have seen your face, Eagle Bearer. But no! That's not why I'm here. You! Why can't you just leave me alone?
- Kassandra: What did I do now? Save your step-sister's cows?
- Aiantides: My aunt was among the stranded people you saved from the fortress.
- Kassandra: You've got to be kidding -
- Aiantides: And now I don't have anything left to reward you. My pockets are dry, my house empty! I've come here to tell you that I, Aiantides the Proud, who shall never be indebted to anyone, will owe you, Eagle-Bearer, a - favor.
- Kassandra: No, no. You've done enough. You don't owe me anything.
- Aiantides: Don't make this harder than it is! Tell me. What is it you need done?
- Kassandra: You're right, I've done so much for you. I accept your favor.
- Aiantides: Excellent! So tell me. What is it you need?
- Kassandra: Join my crew and work on the Adrestia.
- Aiantides: No, no. I have a family o take care of. Something else. Anything!
(Back to choices)
- Kassandra: I need to get some code books from the Tempest. Find them for me.
- Aiantides: (scoffs) What do I look like to you? A thief? No, something else.
- Kassandra: There's a powerful commamder here in Achaia that I need killed - the Tempest.
- Aiantides: Murder? You ask murder of me?! Unacceptable! Ask for something else.
- Kassandra: There are mercenaries trying to kill me. Take care of them.
- Aiantides: I'm not fighter. Look at me! I owe you a favor, not my life. There must be something else.
- Kassandra: You know what, just leave me alone. That would help - a lot.
- Aiantides: Fine! But this isn't over, Eagle Bearer. I know we will see each other again.
Aiantides walked away.
- Aiantides: Then I shall redeem my honor! You will ask something of me, I'm sure of it.
- Kassandra: Unbelievable.
Outcome
Kassandra recovered the reward near the Sunken Temple of Demeter, getting the chance to meet Aiantides himself.
Trivia
- This quest will be available if you have finished the previous quests that involve the character Aiantides, Thank You, Maláka! and Again, Maláka?!.
- The number of favours you can ask him depends on the quests you have already completed. If, for example, you have found the mercenaries who hunt you and found the code books, you will only get the choice of recruiting him, asking him to kill the Tempest and telling him to leave.
