The Spanish Civil War was an armed military conflict in Spain from 1936 to 1939, in which the Republicans, in support of the fledgling Second Spanish Republic, allied with the Anarchists to fight against the Nationalists led by General Francisco Franco.[1]
At least five Assassins, Ignacio Cardona, Dwight Adams, Glaucia Acosta, Miguel Carasso and Nobby Clarke participated in the conflict on the Republicans' side.[2] Cardona also fought alongside Albert Bolden, the former Black Cross of the Templar Order.[3]
