The Siege of Portcestre was a siege by a coalition of forces led by Eivor Varinsdottir against the fortress of Portcestre, captained by Fulke and the Kingdom of Wessex. The siege was conducted with the aim of rescuing Eivor's brother and the Raven Clan's jarl Sigurd Styrbjornsson after he had been captured and tortured by Fulke following the events in Oxenefordscire in around 874.

Aided by her allies whom she had befriended throughout England, Eivor was able to rescue Sigurd alongside Basim and eliminated Fulke before King Aelfred's reinforcements could provide assistance.[1]
