The 1755 Lisbon earthquake was a seismic event that occurred in the city of Lisbon on 1 November 1755. The earthquake was caused by the defense mechanism of a First Civilization Temple situated under the Feast of the Saints Cathedral, which was triggered by the then Assassin Shay Cormac, who went there under the order of Achilles Davenport, the Mentor of the Colonial Assassins.
