This article is about the Sword of Eden used by Perseus. For other uses, see Harpe of Perseus.
I wanted to ask you something. Which is... what's your name?
This article title is conjecture. Although the article subject is canon, no official name for it has been given.

Perseus' Sword of Eden was a Sword of Eden used by Perseus to slay the gorgon Medusa[1][2] after she had been transformed into the Writhing Dread by an artifact which was later retrospectively known as the Prize of the Medusa.[3]

History

Over the years, multiple weapons were purported to be the one used by Perseus. A sickle called Hermes' Scythe was on display in the Temple of Dionysos Kolonatas in Sparta during the 5th century BCE alongside other relics alleged to have been a part of his story.[3]

Other examples included the one used by the Writhing Dread,[3] and the one sold on markets in the Ptolemaic Kingdom.[4]
