Jupiter, previously known as Tinia and Zeus, was a member of the First Civilization. He was mentioned by Minerva, also a member of the First Civilization, during her warning to Desmond Miles.
Later, following the fragmentation of Desmond's mind, Jupiter spoke with him at the Synch Nexus, informing him of the final days of the First Civilization, and the reason for the creation of the Vaults.
Trivia
- Jupiter was labeled with his other name, Tinia, in the artbook of Assassin's Creed: Revelations. He was also referred to as such in the novel of Revelations.
- Jupiter's helmet resembles an eagle, his representative animal in Greco-Roman religion and a common motif symbolising the Assassins.
- Jupiter is the Roman King of the Gods and is the equivalent of the Greek God Zeus both in characteristics and personality.
- His other name, Tinia, is the Etruscan equivalent of Zeus/Jupiter.
