Trivia

• The achievement Armchair General is a reference to a term typically used in a derogatory manner to describe someone who regards themselves as a military expert despite having no actual military experience. It also breaks the fourth wall, since the civilian players command trained Assassins.
• The achievement Iron Curtain is a reference to the name for the imaginary line dividing Europe between the capitalist Western Bloc and the communist Soviet Union during the Cold War. The Berlin Wall would later be built on part of this "curtain", giving physical form to what had been only a metaphorical divide.
• The title and icon for the achievement Spider Assassin are references to the Marvel Comics super-hero Spider-Man. After a bite from a radioactive spider granted him superpowers, chief among them the ability to scale buildings at super-speed, Peter Parker took to fighting New York street crime and super-villains in a red-and-blue spandex suit with a similar icon emblazoned on the chest.
