The Iona Vault was an Isu vault located on the island of Iona in Scotland. The vault was located beneath the Iona Abbey in the meander of its undergrounds and was composed of a simple corridor and a door, which could only be opened by an individual with Isu ancestry touching it, opening on a circular chamber.[1]

In 1296, during the English invasion of Scotland, the Scottish Assassins made a forgery and sent the true Stone of Scone to be hidden in Iona[2] to prevent it from falling into the hands of the Templars. However, after James of Crannach betrayed the Brotherhood and forewarned the Templar Cornavii, he and his soldiers killed the men sent by William Wallace on Iona as they delivered the artifact to the abbey.[1]

However, a team led by the Assassin Deorsa arrived in time and recovered the Stone despite James' betrayal and the Templar unleashing its power on them. The twins Fillian and Aileas and their ally, druidess Moira then hid the true Stone of Scone within the Vault, securing its safety.[1]
