History
19th century
In 1873, the British Assassin Simeon Price and the former Austrian Templar Countess Konstanze von Visler ran away to a secluded cabin in the Alps after faking their deaths to hide from the Templars. There, the couple trained and lived together in seclusion, and at one point adopted a St. Bernard dog that they named Javert. For a month, Simeon readied Konstanze to meet with the Swiss Assassin leader Henri Escoffier as a possible initiate.[1]
For the next three years, Simeon and Konstanze continued to live in the cabin while she trained to become an Assassin. In September 1876, Simeon waited at home for two months while Konstanze was off to Brussels on her first mission to assassinate the Templar cartographer Maynard Poole. During World War II, the Assassin Brotherhood aided local Maquis cells in their resistance against the Germans from a cabin in an isolated part of the Swiss Alps.[3]
This cabin, which had been in use as a base since the 1800s, was also the destination for Desmond Miles's cell after Abstergo Industries raided their hideout in Rome in mid-September 2012,[3] though a roadblock in Grosseto[4] forced them to relocate to Monteriggioni instead.[5]
On 15 November 2017, a hypnotized Elisa Adler held Maxime Gorm hostage and made him drive to a helipad in the Swiss Alps. There, they were greeted by Stanislas, who took them to meet his employer, Dr. Nathalie Chapman.
