Adamant, known to the ancient Greeks, and later to Abstergo as pathorica [citation needed] , was a type of nearly indestructible metal. It was notably used in large quantities by the First Civilization and served as the principle material in their Pieces of Eden.

In a simulation created by the Isu Aletheia, the Spartan misthios Kassandra encountered adamant in both its raw and processed form during her time in Atlantis.[1]
