The 1973 Chilean coup d'état was a watershed event in both the history of Chile and the Cold War. At the end of the conflict Salvador Allende was killed, and the military general Augusto Pinochet rose to power.
Augusto Pinochet was a puppet of the Templar Order, and wanted Abstergo Industries to have influence in the region.
