- "It was Aita who volunteered to see if it might be done. Aita, my husband, my love."
- ―Juno.[src]

Aita was a member of the First Civilization and the husband of Juno. He was the architect of the Observatory and the overseer of the Pieces of Eden; following his death, Juno worked to bring him back to life, and succeeded in reincarnating him several times over the millennia.
Biography
In his time, Aita helped Juno, Minerva, and Jupiter sort through the solutions given to them at the Grand Temple, in order to prevent the First Disaster, which he was able to do until the fourth solution was tested.[1]
After their first three attempts of preventing the First Disaster failed, Juno and the others sought to save their race by means of smaller proportions. The fourth solution was to internally change the bodies of their kind, to what would survive the new, hostile world to come. In order to test this solution, they would need a living test subject, for which Aita volunteered.[1]
As the solution was tested, Aita's mind deteriorated within an instant; while his body would survive, his mind became brittle and catatonic. With enough will, he asked his wife to end his suffering, and Juno regrettably fulfilled his request by stabbing him in the heart, euthanizing him.[1]
Despite his death, Juno's experiments had some success. Throughout the next millennia, Aita reincarnated in the bodies of various humans, known as Sages, such as Bartholomew Roberts and John, giving them his appearance and memories.[2]
