Pan's Flute was a virtual representation of one of Kassandra's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan through the Portable Animus HR-8.5.
Description[edit | edit source]
Kassandra followed one of Anaximander's maps to the location of a flute which allegedly belonged to the god Pan.
Dialogue[edit | edit source]
Kassandra arrived at a cave in the mountains near Marathon Beach, the entrance of which was surrounded by boulders that resembled goats.
- Kassandra: This must be the place.
Inside, she discovered it to be occupied by the Followers of Ares. As she navigated the cave, she also found Spartan prisoners and freed them. Going further inside, she killed the leader guarding piles of treasures. On top of one sat the flute.
- Kassandra: I see it.
Kassandra retrieved the flute.
- Pan's Flute
This is the magical flute of Pan of the Pastures. He named it Syrinx, after the wood nymph who rejected him and changed into river reeds. Pan made the reeds into the pipes for his flute, so in the end she didn't escape him after all, which is quite sad.
- Kassandra: Pan's flute! Xenia will love this.
Kassandra left the cave.
