Milad was an Isu[1] who was later incorporated into Persian mythology as a prince who reincarnated into a god.[2] In the 860s, the Alamut Hidden One Basim ibn Ishaq recovered an armor set believed to have belonged to Milad from the chamber underneath the Northern Oasis.[3]
Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
Milad is a character originally mentioned in Assassin's Creed: Mirage. His only mention in the entire game is in the name of the Isu Armor called "Milad's Outfit" that Basim ibn Ishaq recovers from the Northern Oasis vault. During an April 2024 AMA on Reddit, Creative Director Stéphane Boudon responded to a question about Milad's identity, saying that the legend of a Persian prince-turned-god was "a perfect fit" for an Isu who was connected to local lore.[1]
