Sigyn was an Isu, one of the Æsir in Norse mythology and the wife of Loki. Loki, however, had a mistress, Angrboða, with whom he had three children.[1]

Sigyn was mentioned in hushed whispers by her husband and his mistress after the latter expressed his anger and frustration at their son, Fenrir, being falsely imprisoned by Odin. Angrboða reminded him that if his wife were to find out, it may put their other two children at risk.[1]
