Petrified Temple

The Petrified Temple was a ruined Isu temple located near the Dread Ruins on the island of Lesbos, Greece. It was said to house Medusa, a gorgon in Greek mythology, but in reality a hybrid-creature made as a result of the Isu's Olympos Project.

During the 5th century BCE the Spartan misthios Kassandra entered the Temple, and fought and slew the Writhing Dread within, seizing its relic.[1]
