Nodens was an Isu who later became known as a god of the Celtic Pantheon.

Mythology[edit | edit source]

Nodens was revered as a god of healing, the sea, hunting and dogs in ancient Britain.[1]

Influence[edit | edit source]

During the 9th century, the Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan discovered an Isu bow named after Nodens during her travels at Eurviscire.[2]
