Milad was an Isu[1] who was later incorporated into Persian mythology as a prince who reincarnated into a god.[2] In the 860s, the Hidden One Basim Ibn Ishaq recovered an armor set believed to have belonged to Milad from the chamber underneath the Northern Oasis.[3]
Behind the scenes
Milad is a character originally mentioned in Assassin's Creed: Mirage. His only mention in the entire game is in the name of the Isu Armor recovered by Basim Ibn Ishaq from the Northern Oasis vault, "Milad's Outfit". During an April 2024 AMA on Reddit, Creative Director Stephane Boudon responded to a question about who Milad was, saying "Milad was a prince from a Persian legend which was reincarnate [sic] into a god. A perfect fit for creating the legacy of a new Isu character tied to the Persian lore."[1]
