Legacy of the First Blade was a virtual representation of one of Kassandra's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan through the Portable Animus HR-8.5.
After killing Gergis, Kassandra headed up to the Temple of Zeus to confront Amorges.
Kassandra navigated through the Andania Mine and made her way to the Temple of Zeus.
Entering the courtyard, she found Amorges waiting before the statue of Zeus.

Amorges outlined how agents such as Phila, Pactyas, and Gergis were influencing Greek society.
Kassandra grimaced, indignant at Amorges' insinuations.
Kassandra glanced down and shook her head.

Darius entered from the side, interrupting Amorges.
Amorges drew his sword and shield and attacked Kassandra and Darius. They defended themselves.
While Amorges blocked one, he was wide open to the other. However, he wielded a powerful sword that evened the odds.
They inflicted deep wounds on Amorges.
Darius and Kassandra began to overwhelm Amorges.
Darius eventually leapt onto Amorges' shoulders, causing him to drop his shield. He somersaulted and sliced down Amorges' back. Enraged, Amorges ignited his sword and began channeling its full power.
Amorges was brought to the brink of defeat. He rolled to retrieve his shield and adjusted his stance. Kassandra speared his shield and ripped it away, allowing Darius to tackle him down the hill.

Kassandra went down the hill and found Darius crouching over Amorges, his Hidden Blade drawn to his throat.
Darius retracted his Hidden Blade and gave Amorges his right hand.
He helped Amorges up.
Kassandra closed her eyes tightly in relief.
Amorges glanced at the scar on his left hand. He groaned in pain and dropped to his knees overlooking the Great Trench. Darius squatted beside him.

Amorges succumbed to him wounds and passed on.
By dawn, Kassandra had travelled to the southern tip of Messenia, overlooking the small island Amorges mentioned. Kassandra travelled down the hill to a small felucca near the shore.
Kassandra boarded the felucca and sailed towards the island.
She reached the edge of the island.
After docking, She travelled inland and found a man on a small hill.

Kassandra approached the man, who cradled a baby in his arms. The man handed the baby over to Kassandra.
Elpidios giggled while relief washed over Kassandra. She turned to the man.
Darius arrived shortly after and heaved a sigh of relief.
Elpidios giggled while Kassandra carried him off.
While Kassandra walked away to spend time with Elpidios, Darius turned to the man.
Kassandra and the elder Darius took their leave of the younger Darius, who continued to look back towards the east.

Darius and Kassandra gathered at the shoreline, preparing to leave. While Darius was packing, Kassandra sang her mother's song to Elpidios on a rock. He put his Hidden Blade into a small box.
Kassandra stood up and took out Natakas' blanket. Darius looked away as she wrapped it around Elpidios. She finished her song and gave her son one last kiss.
Kassandra looked at Elpidios, who had fallen asleep.
They sat down on a rock.

Kassandra and Darius defeated Amorges, who revealed Elpidios' location and patched up with Darius before dying. Arriving on the island south of Messenia, they met Darius II, the son of Artaxerxes I, who handed over the baby to Kassandra. Kassandra made the decision to send Elpidios away with Darius to ensure his safety from the Order.
In her vision, Darius settled down in Egypt with Elpidios. Elpidios later become an ancestor to numerous individuals, including Aya of Alexandria.
