The Alamut Temple was a small Isu temple located beneath the Assassins' fortress in Alamut. It was used to store dozens of Memory Seals.
History
During the Isu Era, it used to be a prison, where Odin imprisoned and tortured Loki.[1]
Sometime between 1228 and 1247, during his exile in Alamut, Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad was guided by his Apple of Eden[2] to the temple and claimed six of its Memory Seals, of which he later used five as the Masyaf Keys necessary to open the door to his library beneath the fortress in Masyaf.[3] The Assassin Edward Kenway would later explore the temple during the early 18th century.[4]
